Born from a moment that demanded action.
In June 2025, nearly 1,000 Howard University students were informed that they owed thousands of dollars in outstanding balances and faced potential registration holds or collections. Many talented, hardworking students risked losing their educational opportunities because of rising tuition costs and payment deadlines that left no room for error.
Three students witnessed this firsthand — and refused to look away. Daniel Adegboyega, Jada Rabun, and Joshua Ndegwa recognized that this wasn't an isolated campus crisis. It was a symptom of a far broader national issue: ambitious students are often limited not by talent or work ethic, but by access to financial support, mentorship, and professional networks.
The three co-founders asked a harder question: what if there was an organization built specifically to bridge that gap — to identify students who take initiative, invest in them financially, surround them with mentors, and equip them with the leadership skills to build careers and give back?
ARC Foundation was their answer. Established at Howard University, ARC creates pathways for students through scholarships, mentorship, leadership development, and professional exposure — ensuring that ambition is never stopped by circumstance.
The name says it all: Accelerating Rising Careers. We are here for the students who are already in motion — and we are here to help them go further, faster.
