Joshua Ndegwa - Sophomore, Finance Major from Nairobi, Kenya

As a Finance major at Howard University, Joshua is passionate about using finance to foster growth and innovation across emerging markets. He serves as the Senior Vice President of Investments at the Howard Investment Group, gaining early exposure to portfolio management and financial analysis. Joshua has been recognized as Howard University’s Student of the Year and was one of only two freshmen awarded the prestigious HPS Endowment Scholarship. His long-term goal is to establish a private equity firm in Kenya that supports local businesses and strengthens the economy. For Joshua, ARC’s mission is vital — it provides mentorship and financial support that help students unlock their potential and lead with purpose.

  • Jada Rabun

Jada Rabun - Sophomore, Finance Major from Los Angeles, CA

At Howard University, Jada is committed to financial education and community empowerment. She serves as the Treasurer for the Collegiate 100 of Howard University and the First-Year Experience Chair for the School of Business, where she helps new students transition into academic and professional success. Her goal is to pursue a career in wealth management and eventually build a foundation that helps marginalized communities manage money and grow generational wealth. Jada connects deeply with ARC’s mission, having witnessed how financial hardship and lack of exposure can limit talented students. She believes ARC plays a crucial role in breaking those barriers by providing access, mentorship, and resources for ambitious students to thrive.

  • Daniel Adegboyega, Daniel Boyega

Daniel Adegboyega - Sophomore, Economics Major & Computer Science Minor from London, England

At Howard University, Daniel combines his studies in Economics and Computer Science with hands-on experience in finance and data analysis. He previously completed a Private Credit internship at Blackstone in London, where he analyzed private market investments, and currently serves as an Equity Research Analyst at BLK Capital Management while participating in the AltFinance Fellowship. These experiences continue to strengthen his interest in alternative investments and private equity, where he hopes to drive capital toward innovative, underrepresented entrepreneurs. Daniel believes ARC’s mission reflects the power of access — providing mentorship and opportunity to students who are ready to create meaningful impact.
